Designs
In my design portfolio, I create book covers and logos using botanical art as my medium. Each piece combines natural elements - flowers, leaves, and twigs - to tell visual stories. This unique approach brings organic beauty to contemporary design, resulting in artwork that bridges nature and modern aesthetics.
Small Stones from the RIver
My first Cover Art was for Kat Lehmann's book, Small Stones From the River in 2017
For 'Small Stones from the River,' I wanted to create a design that literally brought the river to life on the cover. I collected smooth stones from a river, carefully selecting ones with varying colors and sizes. I arranged them to create a natural frame on a black background, letting their organic shapes and warm tones - from cream to rust - tell their own story. To capture the complete essence of a river ecosystem, I incorporated leaves and a small fish detail.
This cover design is special to me because it goes beyond just arranging elements - each stone was carefully chosen and positioned to create a balanced composition that feels both natural and intentional. The black background makes the stones appear as if they're floating, giving the design depth while highlighting the beauty of these simple river elements.

Stumbling Toward Happiness
For 'Stumbling Toward Happiness,' I created a whimsical botanical composition where natural elements tell a story. I crafted the cloud using carefully arranged orange seeds against the black background, with a bright Gazania flower acting as a sun, radiating warmth and light.
From this seed-cloud falls a gentle shower of tiny pentas flowers, creating a delicate rain-like effect. The small white and pink pentas flowers drift downward, their star-like shape perfect for creating this rainfall illusion, eventually gathering at the bottom of the cover.
The dark background makes these organic elements pop - the orange seed cloud, the radiant Gazania sun, and the delicate pentas flower rain. The simple typography complements rather than competes with the natural artwork. The composition tells a complete story: sun, cloud, and rain, all created from botanical elements, making this cover design both unique and meaningful.

Pratham Poshana
For Pratham Poshana, I created a whimsical yet meaningful composition using fruits and vegetables to tell a story about nurturing children's health. The mother bird is crafted from a purple banana flower for its body, with a slice of cucumber forming its face, while two cherry tomatoes in a nest become the baby birds. The nest rests on a natural branch, creating a scene that symbolizes both nurturing and healthy eating. The innovative use of fresh produce in creating this scene directly connects to the organization's mission of children's health and nutrition. The Kannada text and Pratham's signature yellow easel logo complete the design
Sujaya
For Sujaya Charitable Trust, I created a logo that symbolizes transformation and empowerment. The design features a unique flower combining bright orange-yellow cosmos petals with deep magenta dahlia petals. The cosmos petals break the uniform pattern of the dahlia, visually representing the organization's mission to break patriarchal patterns and create new opportunities for women and girls. The tagline 'Empower - Break the Pattern' reinforces this message. The contrast between the vibrant yellow and deep magenta petals creates a striking visual metaphor for change and hope, while the flower's natural beauty speaks to growth and transformation.
