Garden Art

A collection of botanical art featuring vibrant flowers, leaves, and other natural elements. They are playful, imaginative, colorful and whimsical designs. Each piece showcases the beauty of nature through an artistic expression. Since most of the elements are from the garden, I call it Garden Art.

Poodle

This botanical artwork playfully portrays the smiling face of a poodle, beautifully crafted from white daisies, chrysanthemums, and baby’s breath flowers. Chrysanthemums provide a fluffy, textured appearance, bringing volume to the poodle’s face, while daisies cleverly highlight expressive eyes. The tiny, delicate baby’s breath flowers form a charming smile and outline, enhancing the friendly character. Set against a dark background, this floral arrangement creatively transforms everyday blooms into a delightful, whimsical depiction of a poodle’s gentle personality.

A simple yet striking piece created from everyday produce: a coiled green bean forms the snake's body, while a small bud serves as its head, complete with a black seed for an eye. Set on a white background, the natural wrinkles and curves of the bean create a convincing serpentine shape.

Green Bean Serpent

I was clearing out vegetables in the fridge when I spotted this curled bean. With a tiny bud for its head and a black nightshade seed for its eye, this kitchen scrap turned into a perfect little garden serpent sprawled against my white counter. It's amazing what you can find while cleaning out the produce drawer.

Gandhi: Petals and Peace

A minimalist interpretation of Mahatma Gandhi created using natural elements. The figure is rendered in a simple line drawing style, with his characteristic silhouette - bald head, wire-rimmed glasses, and dhoti - defined by delicately placed dried chrysanthemum petals, leaves, and twigs. The walking stick is depicted with a single dark twig, while the curve of his back and flowing dhoti are suggested through gentle curves of dried petals. The composition captures Gandhi's essence through spare, elegant lines, combining traditional drawing with natural materials.
